Aparajita Jain is the co-director of Nature Morte, India’s leading contemporary art gallery. She previously owned Seven Arts Limited, which was well known for representing emerging artists and has been instrumental in repositioning Nature Morte to its current status. An influential personality, Aparajita also sits on the board
of Tate's South Asia Acquisition Committee and is a founding member of Harvard University's South Asia Arts Council. A patron of Kochi Biennale, she was listed as one among eight influential women in the Indian art world by ARTSY and one of thirty influential women in the art world by ELLE magazine. Aparajita also started
Saat Saath Arts, a non-proﬁt organization designed to raise awareness of art in India. Through her roles, Aparajita is working towards orchestrating collaborations between various national and international museums, institutions and organizations to promote South Asian art.
